A Toddler Room Where the Wiggles Are Welcome

Toddlers are tiny scientists. They climb, taste, knock things over, and start finding words for the world they're exploring. Our toddler classroom was built for exactly that.

Our Approach

Routines and Freedom, in the Right Balance

Toddlers thrive when they know what comes next — and when they have room to choose, climb, and test. Our day mixes both. Predictable circle time, songs, and meals give your toddler a rhythm to count on. Open play centers, art, sensory bins, and outdoor time give them space to discover.

We introduce letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and early problem-solving through play, not flashcards. Toddlers learn by doing, repeating, and being delighted — never by drilling.

What They Get to Do Every Day

Skills Built Through Play

Music & Movement

Daily songs, dance, and big-motor play in our gross-motor space. Music helps memory, language, and rhythm at this age more than almost anything else.

Language Explosion

Reading, songs, and constant rich conversation with caregivers fuel the vocabulary growth that defines this age. Two-word phrases turn into full sentences here.

Fine Motor Skills

Puzzles, stacking, art, sensory bins, scribbling. Every activity is also secretly building the hand strength that handwriting will need later.

First Friendships

Sharing, taking turns, asking for help — toddlers practice the big social skills here. Our caregivers coach the moments rather than just refereeing.

Hot Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and snacks served family-style. Toddlers try new foods, build healthy habits, and start using utensils.

Bilingual Exposure

English and Spanish are part of the toddler room every day. Songs, books, color names — toddlers absorb a second language faster than at any later age.

Potty Training Support

We'll Partner With You

When your family is ready to start potty training, we'll follow your plan and reinforce it at school. Toddlers learn fastest when home and school are saying the same thing — we're happy to be on the same team.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages are in the Toddler Program?
The Toddler Program is generally for children 1 to 2 years old. Exact classroom placement depends on developmental readiness and current group composition.
Do you serve hot meals?
Yes. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are served family-style. We accommodate common dietary restrictions; specifics are confirmed at enrollment.
Will you help with potty training?
Yes. When your family is ready to begin, we partner with you and follow the plan you use at home so the routines match.
What if my toddler is shy or having a hard transition?
New transitions are normal and expected. Our caregivers stay close, follow your toddler's comfort cues, and stay in touch with you about how the day went. Most toddlers settle within the first two weeks.
How structured is the day?
A predictable rhythm of circle time, learning centers, meals, outdoor play, nap, and free choice. Within that rhythm, toddlers have plenty of room to make their own choices.
Is the classroom bilingual?
Yes. Our staff speaks English and Spanish, and toddlers are exposed to both languages naturally throughout the day.
What's the difference between Toddler and Preschool?
Toddler is roughly 1–2 years; Preschool is roughly 3–4. Toddler is more sensory, motor, and language-focused. Preschool adds pre-reading, pre-math, and longer structured activities.
