Pre-Reading
Phonics, letter recognition, story time, name-writing. The foundation that makes learning to read in kindergarten feel natural.
Curious · 3 – 4 years
Three- and four-year-olds are ready for so much more than free play. Our preschool builds the academic and social foundation children will carry into Pre-K, kindergarten, and beyond — without ever feeling like a classroom they want to escape.
Our Preschool Approach
Our preschool curriculum focuses on the five domains that matter most at this age: language and early literacy, math and reasoning, social-emotional skills, physical development, and creative expression. Activities are intentional, but they look and feel like fun — because that's how preschoolers actually learn.
By the end of our preschool year, most children know their letters, can count and recognize numbers, are starting to write their name, and feel confident speaking up in a group. They're also kinder to each other, better at sharing, and better at solving small disagreements without an adult stepping in.
What They'll Be Doing
Phonics, letter recognition, story time, name-writing. The foundation that makes learning to read in kindergarten feel natural.
Counting, sorting, patterns, shapes, simple addition concepts — built through games, blocks, songs, and snack-time questions.
Art, music, dramatic play, project-based learning. Children make real choices about what they're creating.
Hands-on experiments, nature observation, simple cause-and-effect. Three-year-olds are natural scientists.
Naming feelings, taking turns, resolving small conflicts, asking for help. The skills that will matter every day of school life.
English and Spanish are present throughout the day. Children pick up the second language naturally, alongside their first.
Preparing for Pre-K and Kindergarten
Many of our preschool families move directly into our Georgia Pre-K Program (free, state-funded for 4-year-olds). Children who attended our preschool know the building, the routines, and the staff — making the transition to Pre-K simple and the transition to kindergarten the year after that even smoother.
