School closures follow local Cobb County school system decisions when applicable.

Tuition rates remain unchanged during holiday closures. Inclement-weather closures are rare.

Required Paperwork

Georgia State Forms

All Georgia child care providers are required to keep these forms on file for every enrolled child. We'll provide blanks during enrollment, or you can download from the state directly.

  • Georgia Form 3231 — Certificate of Immunization (from your pediatrician)
  • Georgia Form 3300 — Children's Hearing, Vision, Dental & Nutrition Screening
  • Birth certificate (copy is fine)
  • Proof of residency
  • Health record with current physical exam (within last 12 months)
  • Emergency contact and authorized pickup forms (provided by us)

Subsidies & Outside Resources

Quality child care should not depend on what a family can afford. Here are the programs we accept and how to apply:

CAPS

Georgia's Childcare and Parent Services program for eligible working families. Apply through DECAL.

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. Includes child care support for participants in work programs.

Childcare licensing & quality

  • Georgia DECAL Family Search — search any licensed Georgia childcare provider, view inspection reports, see Quality Rated star ratings. (Marietta Academy: license CCLC-502, Quality Rated 2-Star.)
  • Bright from the Start (DECAL) — Georgia's Department of Early Care and Learning, the agency that licenses and regulates child care in Georgia.
  • Quality Rated — Georgia's voluntary quality rating system for early childhood programs.

Free Georgia Pre-K

Financial assistance for child care

  • CAPS — Childcare and Parent Services — Georgia's child care subsidy program for eligible working, in-school, or in-training families.
  • TANF — Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, administered through Georgia DFCS.

Health, nutrition, & family wellness

  • Georgia WIC — Women, Infants, and Children nutrition program. Eligible families get nutritional support, breastfeeding help, and food assistance for children under 5.
  • Georgia Childhood Immunizations — Georgia DPH information on required and recommended childhood immunizations (Form 3231 is required for child care enrollment).
